Pink Garden Sangria
Sangria is the dinner-party drink you make once, put in the fridge and forget about. Rosé keeps it light, strawberries and peach make it pretty, and a splash of orange liqueur ties it together. Give it at least four hours so the fruit gives up its flavour.
What you'll need
- 1 bottle dry rosé (750 ml)
- 0.33 cup orange liqueur (80 ml)
- 2 cups strawberries, hulled and quartered
- 1 ripe peach, sliced
- 1 lemon, sliced
- 2 tbsp sugar or honey, to taste
- 1 cup sparkling water, chilled (240 ml)
How to make it
Toss the strawberries, peach and lemon with the sugar and orange liqueur and leave 15 minutes.
Pour in the rosé and stir. Refrigerate at least 4 hours or overnight.
Top with the sparkling water just before serving. Pour over ice with some fruit.
Glass: Stemless wine glasses. Garnish: A strawberry and a peach slice from the pitcher.
