Blood Orange Ginger Soda

Blood oranges arrive in winter with a berry-like tartness and a ruby colour, and they are best treated simply. Fresh juice, a fresh ginger syrup and soda are all it needs. Navel oranges work, but the colour will be gold, not ruby.
